The Witcher Showrunner Teases Ciri's Transformation in Season 2

The Witcher is on some pretty epic footing going into its second season, now that its trio of interconnecting storylines have come to a pretty epic head. Fans have been eager to see how Geralt (Henry Cavill), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), and Ciri (Freya Allan) form their sort of "found family", especially considering how early on Ciri is in her hero's journey. According to showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, Season 2 will see Ciri gradually begin to shift into the warrior she becomes -- but also honor her heritage and journey at the same time.

"We're really trying to savor it." Hissrich recently told TVGuide. "I think one of the things that, of course, happens when you are adapting material is that you have these eight episodes, they're an hour long each, [and] we had much more of Ciri's story in Season 1 that we ended up having to trim down. And it's one of the things that when I look at the season, I see she's not as present, Ciri's not as present as I would have liked her to be. So in Season 2, we're really digging in with her character and we're going to understand her a lot more. And yes, that growth that you're describing, where she starts training, where she actually becomes the character that we know from the books and later from the video games, we will see her become that person. But she doesn't change on a dime. What we don't want to do is forget where she came from."

While Allan's casting as Ciri was initially met with backlash, fans have definitely embraced her take on the character after seeing the first season of the series. And as Hissrich explained in a previous interview, the process of Allan becoming Ciri was slightly unconventional.

"What's great about Freya is that she was cast as another role at first," Hissrich said in an interview last August. "A much much smaller role in the first episode, and when we hadn't found our Ciri yet, we had seen over 200 girls and we hadn't found our Ciri, and Sophie Holland our casting director said 'I want you to think about Freya for this.' And I remember saying 'how are we going to call Freya's agent and say we know we cast you, it's not that we don't want you for that role but we may want you for something slightly bigger, and I flew into London and we met and cast Freya that day."

"So each of these processes were totally different but look at what we got," Hissrich added.

The Craziest, Most Disgusting TV Show Is Coming to Netflix

Have you ever wanted to see what it would look like if you tried to turn a corpse into a playable musical instrument? What about making a beehive out of a human skull, or using comatose bodies to fertilize a mushroom garden? If your answer is no, absolutely not, to all of these questions, I want to congratulate you on being of sound body and mind. If your answer is yes, you’re in luck.

The NBC TV show Hannibal, canceled in 2015 after just three seasons, is coming to Netflix in June. And I’m here to recommend that you watch it if horror is your bag. The series is loosely based on Thomas Harris’s novels like the Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs, focusing on FBI investigator Will Graham, played by Hugh Dancy. Graham is gifted at identifying psychopaths, with episodes focusing on trying to capture some bizarre serial killer. He enlists the help of forensic psychologist Hannibal Lector (Mads Mikkelsen), who is, surprise, a cannibal and serial killer himself! Graham’s job gets more difficult when a copycat killer begins to replicate the very murders he’s trying to solve, and I don’t think I’m spoiling much by saying that Lecter doesn’t help the situation.

Let me be clear: Hannibal is batshit. Created by Pushing Daisies’ Bryan Fuller, the show has a distinctive, darkly baroque visual style that feels rare for television. It’s also funny, winking at itself often, and brimming with intense sexual tension between Graham and Lecter. But what’s most incredible about Hannibal is how insanely disgusting and ambitious it was for an NBC show. The crimes Graham has to investigate get increasingly crazier, not to mention the elaborate cannibal meals Lector cooks up every episode, and the show starts to feel like Law & Order: SVU as directed by David Cronenberg. It’s a hard show to stomach, but its body horror can be more poetic than shocking. Every episode you’ll ask, how the hell did this ever air?

Hannibal’s inspired gore, whether it’s your cup of tea or not, feels rare these days. In the years since Hannibal aired, gruesome crime shows have proliferated; True Detective, Sharp Objects, Mindhunter. You can open up any streaming app today and find dozens of documentaries and podcasts dedicated to murderers famous and obscure. But there’s absolutely nothing realistic about Hannibal’s violence. It doesn’t have the same cheap, blinding effect as so many shows that mine real human cruelty for entertainment value as if all that makes for great horror is a cold replication of a crime scene. It’s how beautiful Hannibal can be, from shots of Lecter’s decadent meat-based meals to its cinematic crime scenes, that makes it so scary.

'Outlander' Season 5 Adds Twins To Cast And Returns To Scotland

The Fraser family is expanding in Outlander season 5 with the casting of twin boys Matthew and Andrew. Their Scotland-based agency, KR Management, confirmed the addition, but does this mean that the show will also be returning to the motherland?
In a Facebook post, KR Management congratulated the three-year-old boys for nabbing roles on Outlander season 5. Speculations are that the boys will take turns playing Jeremy, the son of Brianna (played by Sophie Skelton) and Roger (played by Richard Rankin), who was born at the end of Outlander season 4.
This suggested that Outlander season 5 will have a slight time jump. Further sealing this fact was the twin boys' father who posted on social media to caution his babies to behave on the set especially when "Grandma Claire" (played by Caitriona Balfe) is around.
However, some of the fans think that the boys might play the role of the son of Fergus (played by Romann Berrux), Germain, as they are closer to the character's age while others think that the twins might be playing Josiah and Keziah Beardsley from the book source that Outlander season 5 will be based on.

Apart from the twins, Outlander season 5 has also cast Mark Barrett. His character remains a mystery to the fans but based on his appearance; he could pass off as Buck Mackenzie, the son of Douglas and Geillis. Meanwhile, the show's Gaelic consultant Àdhamh Ó Broin has returned on the set of Outlander season 5, and it has raised some questions about next season's location.
For the last year, Outlander has been set in North Carolina, but what could be the reason for Broin's return if not for the storyline to return to Scotland as well? There are also tweets from the production of Outlander season 5 suggesting that they will be filming in Lallybroch, the home of Jamie Fraser in Scotland.
Does this mean that Jenny (played by Laura Donnelly) will also be in the upcoming season? Meanwhile, STARZ has confirmed that Outlander season 5 won't be back until the spring of 2020, which has bummed fans because of the long wait in between seasons. The good news, however, is that the current production will also include season 6, which means that fans of the show might get back to back season releases by next year.

'Homeland' Season 8 Release Date Pushed Back; Final Installment To Arrive In 2020

In April of last year, Homeland Season 7 wrapped things up and left the fans hanging with Carrie Mathison's surprising abduction. Of course, the fans have become so much more adamant in learning what will happen next. But sadly, it might take a while since the release date of the final season has been pushed back. Earlier reports have claimed that the series' final run will premiere on Showtime in the coming fall season.
And this is in consideration of the fact that the previous seasons also premiered on the same timeframe. But while the production has previously confirmed this supposed release date, recent reports have revealed that the arrival will be delayed due to production reasons. According to Vanity Fair, Homeland Season 8, which will be the final run of the series, will soon premiere on February 2020.
And without further lengthy explanations, the series heads revealed that the delay is due to the "production demands" that clearly emphasize that it is out of their hands. It is also uncovered that these demands came from the series' international setting and scope.
As any fans, who are in the loop, would recall, previous updates of the series have revealed that the final season is largely focusing in Morrocco's setup. So, this is probably where those demands came from. It is also hinted before that the final course of Homeland is decided to be "poetic" since they planned the whole plot to end where it all began.

And as any avid viewer would know, it all started in Israel. Hence, it seemingly appears that the production is doing a lot of international shootings and preparations. Although it might take time for the series to return, the fans seem to understand the whole scenario. Besides, there is not much that everyone could do about it but to accept that fact that there will be an almost "two-year" gap between the previous season and the final installment.
As per TV Line, the series creator, Alex Gansa, planned the show to end in its eighth season run. And he has been very vocal about it considering that the imminent end is largely hinted in the previous seasons.
But even so, he also stated that if ever Showtime, along with the cast would continue Homeland for another season, then nothing will change with his decision to leave the show after the upcoming installment. The details about the final season are kept in tight positions. And so far, these are the only updates that have been shared about the show's current perspectives regarding its arrival. Homeland Season 8 will premiere on February 9, 2020, on Showtime.

'Snowfall' Season 4 Renewal Announced After Airing Six Episodes From The Third Season On FX

Snowfall had just returned last month. But considering how short the span is for every season of the show, believe it or not, this FX crime drama series is about to reach its third season finale already. The series is now six episodes deep. And with its plot now starting to pick up all the pieces as the seventh episode is now on the way, it is no wonder why most of the fans are already wondering about its future on the network.
Fortunately, the fandom need not wait for its renewal updates as FX has already announced its decision. According to Deadline, Snowfall Season 4 is now sealed and confirmed. Thanks to the show's overall production crew and cast, the crime drama series was able to pull through. Quite certainly, the new season will follow the same format as what the previous seasons had. It will have a total of ten episodes which will start to air a year after the finale.

In terms of its plot, there is a huge chance that it will pick up where the third season would end. But since the current season is still ongoing, it is pretty difficult to make vast assumptions yet. Even so, many fans have continued to make their theories about Snowfall's future plots and storylines.
And based on the general reception, something huge might happen at the end of the third season. Others would say that someone might die.
With the show's overall premise and dynamic, it will not be that surprising if these theories would become realities of the series. Besides, drugs are the sole basis of Snowfall, hence the title. This is also quite justified by Cartermatt since the publication's newest update regarding the series largely talks about "careful planning" and executions of these designs.
But of course, these updates are only based on the ongoing plot and story of the current season. Snowfall Season 3 Episode 7 titled, Pocket Full of Rocks, seemingly appears to set what will happen in the upcoming finale. With Julia's new plan proposals, Franklin's arrival to help Andre, and Gustavo's cunning visions, a lot can happen in one episode. And so much more if four more episodes are remaining for the season. The Pocket Full of Rocks episode for Season 3 is set to premiere on August 21, on FX.

After years in waiting, Dan Harmon started that Rick and Morty, Season 4 will begin airing in November of 2019. This piece of news was expressed in a video that aired during WarnerMedia’s 2019 upfront.

They have in the highest of spirits, whole they have job security, a writers room, and everything, they also have a responsibility to ensure that they live up to people’s expectations. Hence, the odd delay in Season 4 of Rick and Morty.
Besides Dan Harmon, co-creator Justin Roiland works on Season 4 of Rick and Morty. Both the bosses from the very beginning have been clear about how they want to go about the show. They realize the undertaking of making a show as satirical as Rick and Morty and the troubling fandom expectations that come with it. The fandom tendencies with Season 4 have grown out the show.
As for plot spoiler, they have teased Paul Giamatti inclusion in Season 4. Roiland and Dan have named Giamatti as a celeb guest on Season 4. According to Roiland, “Giamatti did not pass, he actually said yes”.

You Season 2: Release Date, Cast, and Details

In this post, we are going to talk about You season 2 release date, cast, and updates. As many of you would know that Netflix recently released a show called You on the streaming platform. Astonishingly, the show got the spotlight soon and it was one of the most talked shows. But not many people know that the show was not produced for Netflix from the beginning.
The show was made for Lifetime initially, and the first season was broadcasted on Lifetime which started broadcasting on 9 September 2018 in the US. Then Netflix released the show on 26 December 2018 for an international audience. But before even releasing the show on Lifetime, it was decided that the show will have a second season, announced on 26 July 2018.
Afterward, it was informed that the show will move to Netflix as a “Netflix Original” show, announced on 3 December 2018. The second season was also announced on You’s official Instagram page. So, when will the second season release? As we know that the show was originally renewed by Lifetime about six months ago,
I think that the production might have already started before Netflix took over. If I am right, then we can expect the show to hit the small screens in the early quarter of 2019. But if the production would have started after Netflix took over, which was a few days before, then it would take time.

Furthermore, the first season had 10 episodes, and the second season might also have the same number of episodes. Viewers have a lot of questions about the show. The second season will move to Los Angeles, and it would be interesting to see whether Joe can forget the tragedy happened in the first season. Take a look at the main cast below, from the previous season!
Updated on 5 April 2019:
We are waiting for the official details, but there are only a few details available which are reliable. Hence, we need to keep speculating as of now. Nevertheless, we do know that the second season was supposed to start filming in February 2019. Which means, the show might be under shooting phase as of now. It was announced by showrunner Sera Gamble, as she was being interviewed by NME.
I already told you that if the show would start production after Netflix acquired, then we will have to wait. Now that we know it is the case, we are expecting the show to return by the end of this year. I am expecting a Fall 2019 release date, and we will keep you updated with further details!
Updated on April 25, 2019:
The release date for the show has been speculated to be set in Fall of 2019. The show’s filming has begun in February. Usually, the show stays under filming for five to six months. After that pre-production takes one to two months.
This means that the release date of the show could be set around October 2019 at the earliest. The show could also be pushed to November, but I think that’s stretching it a bit. Regardless, we’re excited for the release of the show, and we think we might get a trailer by September 2019.

Westworld Season 3: Spoilers And Release Date

West world never ceases to amaze, this Season I hear, we’ll see an entirely new story about how the hosts have now managed to break free of the park. I am going to warn you of spoilers at this point in time. Please don’t read ahead if you wish Season 2 not to be spoiled. At the end of Season 2, we saw Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood/Tess Thompson) walk in the real world and has taken over Hale’s body. Her (Hale’s) death was an epic moment in Westworld as she was killed by someone and something that she actually truly cared for. I mean the show did leave enough clues to tell us that Hale was dying at the same point in time during Season 2. Her costume was shown similar to that of Dolores. Dolores now has become one huge badass, and she is out there in the world, trying and planning to unleash more of hosts in “Westworld” Season 3.
Dolores will emerge as the biggest villain of Season 3, or the show ever saw. She has everything at her hands like she’s going to take over the entire humanity and wage war against her creators now. With everything at her disposal, especially, the cunningness, resources, and the oldest active host in the show, Dolores is going to be the biggest badass you ever see in “Westworld” Season 3.
The whole concept deals with a threat to humans vs. hero to the hosts. To the humans, Dolores is a major threat. But through the eyes of the other hosts, she’s a hero that would eventually guide them to a new path in life. But then again, as we saw in the past, not every host wants to kill humans. Teddy wasn’t eager to turn against the humans either, as was saw in the past.

The plotline of Season 3 will be conflicting, to say the least. Dolores will be up against those who find resistance from the humans. She’ll also be in a tiff with other hosts who don’t want to commit genocide upon the entire world.
Westworld Season 3 opens in 2020, is my guess. Neither the HBO, not the creators have confirmed anything at this point in time. More as we have it.
Updated on April 6, 2019:
Westworld is officially one month under works now. Fans have been waiting for the release of the third season for quite a while now, but unfortunately, it won’t be out this year by the looks of it. The show is likely to continue filming for the next few months it seems. I’d say that filming for the show will continue up to at least August, maybe even September or October.
We will also have post-production after that, and so, it seems that early 2020 is the likely release date for the the show.
I’m sure that a lot of you are disappointed at hearing this, but at the same time, it means that the next season of the show is going to be that much better too.

Heartland Season 13 Renewed: Everything We Know So Far

Canadian public broadcaster CBC just declared the initial round of original scripted and unscripted renewals for the 2019-20 season. 17 titles are coming back with fresh episodes on CBC. Sally Catto, the general manager of programming at CBC said that CBC is Canada’s platform where best creative talent comes to tell their stories. The return of such a wide range of series with fresh seasons is a testament to the success of CBC.
Amongst the various shows that made it to the first round of renewal list, Heartland occupies a place. Some of the shows are, Baroness Von Sketch Show, Burden of Truth, The Detectives, Dragons’ Den, Frankie Drake Mysteries, The Great Canadian Baking Show, Heartland, In the Making. Since we’re here to talk about Heartland, let’s just dive straight into it.

For long, fans thought that Heartland wouldn’t be back with another season and that Season 12 was the last of Heartland. This is because, in the previous Season, we only saw 11 full-length episodes, instead of the previous mark of 18 episodes per Season, except Season 1. And this is precisely what cast doubts in the minds of fans who have been watching this show for 12 straight years now.
But the wait is finally over! Heartland will make it to Season 13 on CBC. The announcement was made by Amber Marshall, the lead actress of Heartland. Amber plays the character of Amy Fleming on Heartland. She thanked fans for their relentless support of 13 years.
Heartland Season 13 will be back with 10 episodes, as per various reports. Not much has been made of Season 13, except for these two pieces of news. We don’t know plot details, but of course, the plot will have to do something with families and horses. The main cast is expected to be back. There still are two remaining episodes of Heartland Season 12 which will give us an idea of where Season 13 is going to lead to. More discussions to follow in the coming days. Episode 09 airs on March 31, 2019.

Atypical Season 3 Release: What Brigette Lundy-Paine Has To Say?

The second season of Atypical concluded in 2018, and fans have been getting impatient for the upcoming third season. Robia Rashid’s coming-of-age T.V. series made its debut in 2017’s August, and fans have continued to support the show, and Netflix decided to continue the series forward, so they officially gave the series a yes nod for Season 3 back in October 2018. We have gathered all the latest updates and information regarding the show, so here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Atypical Season 3.

The official plot of season 3 is yet to be revealed, however, reports say, it will continue to explore the Gardner family and the third season will pick the story right from where season 2 ended, and it will focus heavily on Casey. Her interest in Izzie will be a significant key piece in the upcoming season.

It has been confirmed that the upcoming Atypical Season 3 will feature a total of 10 episodes.Season 3 is currently under production. The official release date is yet to be revealed; however, according to the latest reports, Atypical Season 3 will be released in September or October 2019.

Ozark Season 3 Total Episodes Confirmed!

Ozark may not be something typical that Jason Bateman does. The series is so atypical of Jason Bateman and has proved to be one of the greatest things to have happened to him in his career. Ozark is solely marketed by Netflix and so far has finished airing two Seasons. Fans are curious to know what should happen to Byrde family in Season 3. Jason Batmen last October confirmed that Ozark would be back for Season 3 with a whole 10 episodes.
At the end of Season 2, Marty and Wendy got in deeper trouble and got their hands dirtier than ever before, and it looks like Marty and family will be in neck deep mess in the upcoming Seasons. Because of the high success of Ozark, Jason Bateman reckons that the shoe is here to stay for a couple more seasons. Jason last October said that he was concerned for Marty and happy for Jason. His cryptic tweet obviously means that things are not looking good for Marty.

(Spoilers ahead) Just when we thought Marty couldn’t screw his life more, voila! Byrde family got entangled with a criminal enterprise at the end of Season 2. In the finale episode, we also saw Marty’s mega-casino boat, which he is going to use to launder hundreds and millions of dollars for the Mexican drug cartel. So that’s what Season 3 is going to be all about- Byrdes will get dirtiest operations operation yet up and running. There are a few murder mysteries as well.
With Cade Langmore, who was shot down by a mysterious gunman and while many wanted Cade dead that includes Ruth, his very own daughter, his nephew, Wyatt, and Marty. Cade who wasn’t known for his subtlety had murdered officer Roy Petty. So the Feds were blood hungry at this point. It looks like they now had a greater cause to get to the bottom of mysterious Ozarks.
Ozark Season 2 is out on Netflix; you nay binge all 2 seasons. As goes for Season 3, we do not know when it will be out. Some fans are speculating that we will be getting the third season in early January 2020. We’ll be sure to update as soon as we have it.

Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Season 3 Confirmed: Release Date And Updates

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 is all set to come back. Not only season 3 but season 4 as well. The production company behind the show confirmed Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 and season 4 which means there will be massive twists and turns in upcoming series. Creator of the show Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa showed her most profound gratitude to Berlanti Television, Warner Bros, Netflix and Archie Productions for supporting the show. Here’s the official announcement post posted on the Instagram account.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina part one or season one aired on streaming giant Netflix back in October 2018. It consisted of a Christmas Special episode alongside, A Midwinter’s Tale, landing mid- December. Comparatively due to the massive success of this show the season two aired on Friday, April 5, 2019, dropping all episodes.
If you take these two release pattern in mind, you can speculate Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3 release date to be in October. Although it is just a speculation period and production company nor Netflix has yet announced an exact release date.

Season 3 trailer is not yet disclosed although we do have the trailer of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 2. Season 2 of the show would be all about Sabrina embracing her powers after committing full time to the Academy of Unseen Arts. This means fans would see her darker side coming out.
Despite her newfound independence, courage and developing knowledge of what she’s capable of, this is still Sabrina we’re talking about, which means the half-witch-half-mortal isn’t about to toss all of her morals out of the window.
Updated on 23 July 2019:
While all the fans want to know more and more about the next season, nothing is coming out to talk about. No release date has been teased, neither we know where the show will pick up from. Hence, it would be advised just to wait for some official details to come out.
However, more information on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Season 3 was revealed by Chance Perdomo at an award function. Chance did not want to say anything, and he only said, “You can expect a lot of badassery.” It does not change anything, but it looks like Chance is pleased to be in the show, and playing his role.

The Dragon Prince Season 3: Will There Be Another Season?

The Dragon Prince Season 2 is out already and I’m pretty sure that all of you want to know about what the series has in store for us as we move forward. Most people who have watched The Dragon Prince loved it ever since it first dropped on Netflix and the second season did more than well to live up to that hype.
We have a lot more of the same to look forward to from Dragon Prince and in this post, we’ll be talking about The Dragon Prince Season 3.
Before we begin, I want to let you all know that this post contains some of the spoilers from The Dragon Prince Season 2. If you don’t want to get spoiled, I suggest that you stop reading the post here. However, if spoilers don’t bother you, we can get started.
The second season was fantastic, whichever way you look at it. We saw Callum, Rayla, Ezran, Zym, and Bait continue their path to the elusive Xadia.

They were being pursued by Soren and Claudia.
Meanwhile, Lord Viren aims to unite the five Human Kingdoms against the magical forces of Xadia. So where does that leave the future of the show? For now, the show hasn’t been renewed for a third season. I think with the popularity of the show that we know it has and the story is far from over, it goes without saying that we will get yet another season.
A decision should be made soon and we will likely hear what Netflix has in store for The Dragon Prince. If it does get a thumbs-up, we will likely see The Dragon Prince return soon. Most sources think that the show will arrive in late 2019, and that’s what we think as well.
Updated on 10 August 2019:
As we know, The Dragon Prince season 3 is confirmed, and we also saw a panel at San Diego Comic Con. Therefore, the third season is on its way, and I believe the production should be in its its last phase. However, no release date has been announced, which is strange. Even in the San Diego Comic Con, we just saw a teaser image and nothing more, no teaser or trailer was released.
If we check the previous release dates, then the first season released in September 2018, and the second season in February 2019. Hence, we should get the third season in September 2019, although it looks like there might be a delay. We would soon get a trailer of it, which will clear all the confusion.
