The Three Best Indie PS5 Games

Gamers, it is time to prepare yourselves for new PS5 games that will be released soon, according to Tech Radar. These new games will be released on PS5, but they first need official confirmation from Sony. It is part of the Indie Initiative program, which is trying to support the indie genre and bring excitement and initiative to players.

Shuhei Yoshida, the head of PlayStation, has recently stated in a PlayStation blog that the aforementioned indie titles will not just be launched on PS5, but also on PS Now monthly, starting with Hello Neighbor.

Yoshida has said that he is pleased to announce this new initiative. Now that there are PlayStation Indies, the team hopes to bring the spotlight onto the best indie games out there, from the ones that get published on PlayStation, and turn the attention to the entire indie gaming community, from a holistic point of view. Their goal is to make PlayStation the best place to find, play and develop the best indie games.

PlayStation’s move is similar to a similar initiative taken by the team while the PS4 was being launched. The idea behind the initiative is to provide players a breath of fresh after playing mainstream games. Below is a list of a few of these games:

Haven

Emeric Thoa, the creative director of the game, said that it will feel like a gentle breeze. It is meant to promote relaxed gameplays and the simplicity of the story, instead of fast-paced action, without being boring.

Recompile

Recompile really strikes a chord during the coronavirus pandemic. It is a new game for PlayStation that enables you to play as a sentient virus. It is set in The Mainframe, an alter-virtual-world, and it encourages players to make difficult choices.

Worms Rumble

For fans of the classic Worms, Worms Rumble is something to look forward to. It is going to be an action-packed revival of the game.

Call of Duty Mobile: Summit Map Addition and other Crash, Raid Map Leaks

Call of Duty Mobile is the latest entrant in FPS mobile gaming. The game crossed over 100 million downloads just in the first week of its launch, breaking every previous record set by any game. PUBG Mobile managed to get around 28 million downloads in the first week and Pokemon GO had 85.5 million downloads. Call of Duty has beaten every record up until now with a significant margin. Call of Duty mobile doesn’t just contains a plain Battle Royale like PUBG. The game treats the players with a variety of multiplayer modes in which they can try out classic Call of Duty game modes like Frontline, Hardpoint, Domination and, of course, Team Deathmatch.

All the modes are team-based and free-to-play as well. Alongside these game modes, the game does have a Battle Royale like PUBG Mobile. In the battle royale mode, players drop in on an island in 4 man squads to scavenge for guns, ammunition and other resources and fight to be the last one alive. Call of Duty Mobile players who have played the classic PC game have been longing for one of the popular maps – The Summit map. The map is an ice map with picturesque setting. The map has finally been added in multiplayer mode for players to enjoy. Also, there are new leaks for the game as well. The leaks, courtesy of ‘TheGamingRevolutionYT’ on twitter suggest that there are new Crash and Raid maps coming to the game in the next Christmas season. The Christmas event which is set to be the winter event will be the one which will bring these new maps to the game. These leaks are however are not to be taken too seriously. As there are no official confirmations yet. We will update you here in case there is any word from the devs on the matter. What do you think about Call of Duty Mobile? Free PlayStation Plus Games: August 2019 Announced

The free PlayStation Games for August 2019 have been announced by Sony. The list includes a plethora of fan favorites. These will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers from August and can be easily downloaded.
The games include Wipeout: Omega Collection, Sniper Elite 4. From July’s selection of games from PlayStation Plus, we saw Detroit: Become Human with a complimentary copy of Heavy Rain, and Horizon Chase. For the upcoming games, we are most excited about Wipeout: Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4. You will be easily able to download both in August.

Wipeout: Omega Collection is the remastered version of Wipeout HD, also its Wipeout HD Fury expansion and Wipeout 2048. These were originally released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita respectively. In the past,  Wipeout: Omega Collection received a free update that enabled PSVR support.
Last month, the free games was supposed to be Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, but to be replaced by Detroit: Become Human/Heavy Rain at the last moment, without any real explanation. Konami claimed that the decision to switch games was Sony’s and not theirs. This resulted in negative reaction towards the July games in early weeks.
August freebies are exciting as hell and we hope audiences are in high spirits to play both the games.

GTA 6 Release Date, Leaks, Location, And All We Know

GTA 5 was a game that was praised by gamers as well as the critics. This game still going strong even after so many years and is making millions. It has been quite some time since Rockstar has released GTA 5 and there are rumors about GTA 6 but it highly unlikely that we will get some info about it for many years to come. Back in 2013, the former Rockstar North President said during an interview that:
“We don’t know what GTA 6 will be, but we’ve got some ideas,” said Benzies in the interview. “We’ve got about 45 years’ worth of ideas we want to do. We’ll pick the right ones. It comes from the idea first. Where it is going to be set is the first question. That then defines the missions; you’re doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the mission in.” This is all things that Benzies talk about, and he has left Rockstar for so reason.

The release date of this game won’t be released anytime soon, and if it were to release, I think it will be in the year 2021. I say this because Rockstar takes their time in making games, and they want everything to be perfect in all ways. Also, they would want to avoid pressuring their employees. And there are always significant gaps between the game Rockstar makes. The reveal trailer of GTA 6 might be released sometime in 2020. As for the PC release, I think it will come to PC because GTA 4 and 5 made their way towards PC. But PC fans might have to wait for some time as it would need some more finishing touches. Now, let us talk about where GTA 6 might take place. There are many rumors that suggests it might take place in London, Tokyo and Vice City. The map size of this game will obviously be bigger than before even bigger than Red Dead Redemption 2. The protagonist of GTA are always unique in every game and every GTA game had only one protagonist but in GTA 5 there were three protagonist. And a fan came up with a very great theory that GTA 6 will also have multiple protagonist but there will be a twist. One protagonist will be a cop and other will be a thief. In which we will have to decide who is good and bad. I love the concept and I think it will make the game more interesting than ever.

Halo 6 Trailer, Updates, And Release Date Updates

Microsoft’s E3 2018 presentation was a massive success as Microsoft announced the new addition to Halo franchise “Halo Infinite.” The game is built on the Slipstream engine. So what is Halo 6: Infinite Release Date? What to expect from it? And did the company show any gameplay? Let’s get digging.
The game was declared with a mysterious 2 min long teaser which doesn’t precisely tell fans what to expect. Although, reports show gameplay is based and features a Halo ring. As Master Chief turns up at the end of the video with what looks like a new helmet.
Halo 6: Infinite Trailer
Halo 5 was released only three years ago, and it has a support with a respectably huge group of players on the multiplayer side. The current head of XBOX Phil Spencer stated that it would be Master Chief’s “greatest adventure.”
Halo 6: Infinite release date is yet to be announced. It has been only three years since Halo 5: Guardians was released and the company hasn’t made any announcement since then. Halo Infinite was much needed for the Xbox One as Sony has overthrown Xbox’s competition with exclusives such as God of War, Bloodborne, Yakuza 0, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Until Dawn and Uncharted 4. The Xbox One must struggle a lot to keep up. The only consistent seller for Xbox One has been Forza.
Also, there is a huge debate going on whether there will be a battle royale mode in Halo Infinite. We have seen that Call of Duty and Battlefield 5 have also introduced their own Battle Royale modes, and there are dedicated battle royale games such as PUBG, Fortnite, and Apex Legends. It would be interesting if we could see a battle royale from Halo, and how attractive it is, and its uniqueness from the other games in competition.
In a live stream, developer 343 stated that Halo 6 WILL NOT feature a battle royale mode. Jeff Easterling a writer for 343 reported.

This news reviled and disheartened theory about Halo Infinite being a Battle Royale game. Also, many reports suggest Halo Infinite will not be a next-gen title.
Update:
The game is in development at 343 Industries. Halo Infinite runs on the new Slipspace game engine of the studio. Chris Lee, who is the studio director, was present during the Inside Xbox live stream which took place at E3. He explained to the viewers that 343 is highly ambitious, and they want to use this ambition to make the Halo game. He also said that the game might not have been possible on the previous gaming console. Chris also said that the Slipspace engine hoped to support Halo games for another ten years. There was also confirmation that the Halo Infinite trailer was the opening cinematic from the game. In the trailer, we saw Master Chief. There has been no gameplay footage yet but, we should see updates in the upcoming weeks. Halo Infinite is a launch title for Xbox Scarlett. However, it will also to play on any of the Xbox One consoles. I would like to add one major detail to the post. Halo Infinite will be available for PC. So, you don’t need to buy an Xbox to play the new Halo game. That’s good news.

The Outer Worlds: Release Date, Gameplay, Trailers And More

2018 was the year of epic games which included hits such as the Red Dead Redemption etc. Fallout 76 is coming sooner than ever and Borderlands 3 still MIA, people have been wondering when The Outer Worlds will come to town. The recent development in the world of games is that Obsidian Entertainment, known for RPG games such as Fallout: New Vegas, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, may have just been acquired by Microsoft. Hence The Outer World will be the last nail in the coffin before their studio is painted by the Xbox-flavor.
It was announced at E3 2018 by Microsoft announced that it had acquired Obsidian Entertainment. Microsoft will be the first party studio to develop exclusives on its platform after the release of The Outer World.
The highly anticipated game, Outer Worlds will be out sometime this year. Obsidian has spoken of some of the key details such as how the shooter-infused game will work. Today we’ll talk about The Outer World game including the latest on release dates, platforms, gameplay and more. We’ll update this page throughout the year.
As goes for the release date of The Outer World, it is notified that it is gonna be releasing this year. The Outer World was announced last December. Very briefly, Obsidian hasn’t specified any exact launch dates just yet. A delay is obviously on the cards, but the important thing to remember here is that The Outer World won’t be coming in the first half of 2019 at all. My bet is laid upon the second half of 2019. The only platform is Xbox One, and the game is coming to PS4, PC, Xbox One, and PS4 but not the Nintendo Switch.

Updated on March 21, 2019:
Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky have taken charge as lead directors of The Outer World and let’s hope it is more than the classic RPG that we expect it to be.
Those playing on PC will find it strange for the game to not be available via Steam. That’s right. We’re told that The Outer World won’t be out on Steam. Epic doesn’t have any plans to do that. According to Obsidian, the game will be available solely via Epic and the Microsoft Store for at least a year.
While that is strange, it is understandable because that’s just how Epic works. All in all, it shouldn’t be a major problem. I expect the game to be good either way. I hope it doesn’t disappoint and the acquisition of the game doesn’t get complicated due to the whole Steam Fiasco. When a release date for The Outer World is announced, we’ll let you know here on Otakukart. Make sure that you keep an eye.
Updated on April 16, 2019:
The demo of the game, which was made available just a few weeks ago when turned out to be bug ridden. While none of them were too huge, it certainly did point out the weaknesses of the game. We expect the finished product to be a lot better than the showing we got earlier this month.
Also, recently it was revealed that the game isn’t going to have a lot of crafting in it. Most of the games today have tonnes of tedium. This game is going to be a bit different. This has generated a mixed reaction from the gamers community, but we’re excited to see how it plays out.
