The Seven Deadly Sins Announces New Sequel Movie

The Seven Deadly Sins has announced a new sequel movie is on the way! The fourth and final season of the anime series, The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgment, is currently premiering new episodes in Japan (but fans in other territories will have to wait until later in 2021 to check out the new season on Netflix) and it seems the anime franchise is gearing up to continue further. Although the anime has set Dragon's Judgment as the final season of the series overall, it's not going to be end of the anime in general as a new film will continue beyond the events of the final season.

Kodansha has announced The Seven Deadly Sins will be releasing a brand new anime feature film set after the events of Dragon's Judgment. Aiming for a release in Japan later this Summer, The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light, will feature a completely original story from original series creator Nakaba Suzuki.

With The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgment currently making its way through Japan, there's no telling what this new story will entail or whether or not the final events of the manga will be reflected in the anime's currently scheduled 24 episode run. The original manga release of the series will also be getting an official sequel some time this year as well, so maybe the film could even be tied into that. But it's far too early to tell, of course.

My Next Life as a Villainess Season 2 Confirms Release Window with First Trailer

My Next Life as a Villainess has confirmed its release window with the first trailer for Season 2! As one of the biggest debuts of last year, the anime adaptation for Satoru Yamaguchi and Nami Hidaka's My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom confirmed a second season was in the works shortly after the first came to an end. The inaugural season of the anime series was one of the best received anime not only in the Spring 2020 season, but the entire year as a whole considering the stresses of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Although there had not been any updates for the new season since it was initially announced this Summer, fans got a big news drop when My Next Life as a Villainess confirmed Season 2 will be releasing some time this July. Although it has not confirmed exactly when in July the new episodes will premiere, the series has dropped its first trailer giving fans an idea of what to expect in the second season.
 

A staff or cast has yet to be formally announced for the second season of the series, but the cast and staff from the first season presumably will return for the next outing. As of what we can expect from the second season of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, the first trailer teases all kinds of shenanigans from Catarina Claes once more.

Digimon Adventure Debuts a Surprise Patamon Evolution

Digimon Adventure debuted a surprising Patamon evolution in the newest episode! Digimon Adventure's reboot series has been making its way through its next intense arc, and fans have seen some surprising evolutions over the course of its first 30 or so episodes. But now a new wrench has been thrown into the mix that fans of the original series are bound to be surprised by as the evolutions in the new series are no longer confined by the rules of that first series. Because as we see in Episode 32 of the series, these new Digimon partners have branching evolution forms.

Episode 32 of the series surprises with a pull from Digimon Adventure 02 and sees Patamon evolve not into Angemon as had been seen prior, but sees it evolve into Pegasmon (Pegasusmon in the original Digimon Adventure 02) through the battle. But this time around, it's without the need for the Digi-Egg of Hope.

Branching evolutionary paths in general are not a first for this franchise, nor had the evolutions been set in stone in the new series as MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon had received upgrades to their forms in prior episodes, but this is a huge twist to the original anime series. This is a major step forward for the rest of the series. It was possible to connect certain dots from the older series through the first half of the reboot, but now we're in completely uncharted waters here.

When Patamon sees Tai and Sora struggle against attacking Fangmon and Cerberumon, it digs deep into itself to try and evolve but it's exhausted much of its holy power in the previous fight against DarkKnightmon. But it still manages to evolve into this familiar Season 2 evolution, and thus raises many questions about the potential evolutions of the other DigiDestined as the series moves forward.

Dragon Ball Super Teases the Birth of the Universe's Next Great Fighter

The new year is here, and that means Dragon Ball Super is ready to take on a new arc. After dealing with Moro and the gang in 2020, the manga is preparing to put Goku through his paces once more. The next arc coming to Dragon Ball promises to introduce some impressive villains who have a dark history with the Saiyan race. And thanks to a new promo, it seems a prophecy will accompany this arc which foretells the birth of the universe's greatest warrior to date.

The update came recently when Dragon Ball Super put out a promo for its next chapter. The release, which drops next week, plans to give fans a better take on Granolah and his mission. However, as the promo shows, Goku will receive a prophecy in this arc that has piqued interested.

According to the Oracle Fish, a warrior is about to be born into Universe 7 that surpasses Goku. The promo calls this mysterious figure the greatest warrior in the universe, and it will be born soon. At this point, fans have no idea who or what this prophecy is referring to, but they have plenty of ideas.

The first is more literal as fans are curious if a new fighter is about to be born. Bulla was born amidst the drama of Dragon Ball Super, so it is possible. There is always a chance a new Saiyan could be born perhaps on Broly's side, but any warrior could be literally birthed this arc according to the Oracle Fish.

The second theory going around is a metaphorical take on birth. A warrior can be birthed at any time when the situation demands, so that could be the ordeal here. The Oracle Fish might foresee the arrival of such a moment, and it could refer to anyone - even Goku. All it would require is a new power boost, and Dragon Ball Super is really good at creating those for its heroes.

One-Punch Man Season 2 Hits Blu-ray and DVD with New Trailer

The time has come for all you One-Punch Man fans! It has a been a hot minute since the anime made waves on the media circuit, but the show's second season is changing that at last. After all, Viz Media just released the second season of One-Punch Man on Blu-ray / DVD, and there is a new trailer out to mark the milestone!

'Love Me, Love Me Not' Anime Film's Trailer Reveals, Previews Bump of Chicken's Theme Song

The official website for the anime film of Io Sakisaka's Love Me, Love Me Not (Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare) manga announced on Tuesday that BUMP OF CHICKEN are performing the film's theme song "Gravity." The website began streaming a new trailer that previews the theme song.

The film will open in Japan on September 18. The film was previously slated for May 29, but TOHO and the film's production committee delayed the film's opening due to the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

A separate live-action film adaptation will open on August 14.

 

The anime stars:

• Marika Suzuki (debut theatrical anime role) as Yuna Ichihara
• Megumi Han as Akari Yamamoto
• Sōma Saitō as Kazuomi Inui
• Nobunaga Shimazaki as Rio Yamamoto

Kikuko Inoue and Hideyuki Tanaka play Akari's parents, while Aya Hisakawa and Kazuhiko Inoue play Yuna's parents. Shun Horie and Ayane Sakura also join the cast as Akari and Yuna's classmates.

Toshimasa Kuroyanagi (The Great Passage, Say, "I Love You"., Shōnen Hollywood - Holly Stage for 49) is directing the film at A-1 Pictures. Erika Yoshida (Trickster, Namu Amida Butsu! -Rendai Utena-) is penning the script. Yuu Yamashita (Bunny Drop) is designing the characters. Yuuji Nomi (Whisper of the Heart, Say, "I Love You".) is composing the music.

Seven Seas Licenses SUPER HXEROS Harem Manga

Seven Seas Entertainment announced on Monday that it has licensed Ryōma Kitada's SUPER HXEROS (Dokyū Hentai HxEros) manga. Seven Seas Entertainment will release the first volume physically and digitally on February 2021.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the manga:

When the mantis-like aliens known as Kiseichuu descend on Earth, they have one goal: eradicate the human race. They do so by absorbing humans' H-energy--the sexual passion that fuels so many people and keeps the species reproducing! The government has assembled an elite team of superheroes to fight the bugs, aided by technology that allows them to transfer their erotic energy into super powers.

High schooler Retto Enjo is recruited onto the team, partnering with four beautiful girls, one of whom is his childhood friend Kirara Hoshino. Though they were once close, they've grown apart in recent years, since Kirara turned distant and aloof after an encounter with the Kiseichuu in her youth. Can Retto save the world, keep his team together, and maybe even melt his childhood friend's newly cold exterior?

Kitada launched the manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in April 2017, and Shueisha published the manga's 10th volume on July 3. The manga is inspiring an ongoing television anime that premiered on July 3. Funimation is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens Anime Gets Comedy Spinoff Manga

This year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, the new television anime for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, will get a new manga in the Saikyō Jump magazine starting in the September issue on August 4. Megumi Sasaki is writing the manga, titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens: Boku no Road Gakuen (My Road Academy). The manga will be a comedy spinoff manga.

The anime premiered on TV Tokyo on April 4, and on BS-TV Tokyo on April 10. The fifth episode aired on May 2. On May 1 the anime's official website announced that the anime was suspending production due to safety concerns related to the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). TV Tokyo then resumed broadcast on June 13 and aired episodes 6-9. TV Tokyo will air new episodes starting from episode 10 on August 8.

The anime features a protagonist in elementary school for the first time in the franchise. The anime has a new "Rush Duel" rule and takes place in the future in the town of Gōha. Yūga Ōdō, a fifth-grade student, loves both inventions and dueling. His classmate Luke is a self-styled "number one duelist at Gōha 7 Elementary School." Gakuto is the school's student council president, and Romin is Yūga's classmate.

The new anime commemorates the 20th anniversary of the anime franchise. Konami had announced the series with the teasing phrase, "the history of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series will change."

My Hero Academia Gets New Original Anime Episode Streaming on August 16

This year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that the My Hero Academia franchise will get a new original anime episode that will stream in Japan starting on August 16. The anime will stream exclusively on Hulu in Japan starting on August 16, and will stream on August 30 on other services such as d Anime Store, U-NEXT, dTV, Anime Hōdai, Hikari TV, J:COM on Demand, TELASA, and milplus.

The two original anime that also bundled with the manga's 13th and 14th volumes in Japan in 2017 will also be available for streaming in Japan at the same time.

The new original episode is titled "Boku no Hero Academia: Ikinokore! Kesshi no Survival Kunren" (My Hero Academia: Survive! Do-or-Die Survival Training). The episode takes place right before the provisional pro hero license exam. Class 1-A is divided into two teams to practice disaster relief scenarios. In the drill, a fire has broken out at an underground shopping mall, and the teams must save dummies placed in the area, serving as people left behind in the mall. As Deku and his team of 10 people start looking for victims to save, an area collapses and traps them underground. In addition, there are also more threats of other areas collapsing, the electricity has gone out, and the air is getting thin. Deku and his team must work together with their Quirks to escape and survive.

The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016. The 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017, and the third season premiered in April 2018 and ran for 25 episodes. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019, and aired for 25 episodes. The anime will get a fifth season.

Original manga creator Kōhei Horikoshi launched the manga series in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014. Viz Media publishes the manga in English digitally and in print in North America. Shueisha's MANGA Plus service also publishes the manga in English digitally.

Shonen Jump Teases One Piece Manga is Headed Toward 'Upcoming Final Arc'

In an advertisement for the upcoming One Piece Magazine volume 10 on September 4, this year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine teased on Monday that Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga is "headed toward the upcoming final arc." The advertisement did not give any more specifics.

The advertisement made the reference as the 10th volume of the One Piece Magazine will focus on a theme of rereading the manga to "prepare for the climax."

The 10th volume of the magazine will also start Boichi's adaptation of the One Piece: Ace's Story novels.

Oda reported in a YouTube video posted in September 2019 that he "wants to end [the One Piece story] in five years."

While he was still in high school, Oda was a runner-up for the Tezuka Award for new creators from Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1992. He began serializing the One Piece manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump manga on July 19, 1997. As of April, the manga had 390 million copies in print in Japan and 80 million copies in print in over 42 other countries and territories, for a total of more than 470 million copies in print worldwide. The manga won the 41st Japan Cartoonist Awards in 2012, and set a Guinness World Record in 2015 for "the most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author."

Pokémon Journeys TV Anime Casts Yōko Hikasa as Bea

The ongoing television anime Pokémon Journeys: The Series has cast Yōko Hikasa as gym leader and Fighting Pokémon user Bea (Saitō).

Bea appeared in the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Nintendo Switch role-playing games as the gym leader of Stow-on-Side Stadium. In the anime, she joins the World Coronation Series with her Pokémon Grapploct (Otosupus).

Bea previously appeared in the Pokémon: Twilight Wings net anime, but Eri Kitamura voiced the character in that version.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on November 17, two days after the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games shipped worldwide. The first 12 episodes of the anime debuted in the United States on Netflix on June 12, and the service will add new episodes quarterly. The anime also premiered on the Canadian television channel Teletoon on May 9, and it will then debut on Télétoon in French later this year.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series had delayed airing new episodes since April due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19), but has since resumed airing new episodes on June 7. Pokémon: Twilight Wings (Hakumei no Tsubasa) also delayed its fifth episode from May to June 5 due to the effects of COVID-19 on the show's production. Gekijōban Pocket Monster Koko, the 23rd anime film in the franchise, has been delayed from its planned July 10 opening to this winter due to the spread of COVID-19.

Crunchyroll Adds Subtitled Version of Zo Zo Zombie Anime

Crunchyroll started streaming 13 English-subtitled episodes of Zo Zo Zombie, Canadian toy and media company Spin Master and Shogakukan-Shueisha Production's animated series based on Yasunari Nagatoshi's Zo Zo Zo Zombie (Zo Zo Zo Zombie-kun) manga, on Thursday.

Crunchyroll had launched the first five episodes of the series with an English dub on March 19, and it then released one new dubbed episode every week until the 13th episode premiered on May 21. The company is streaming the anime in the following territories: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

Zombie boy isn't your average kid, and while being a zombie might not at first seem like an ideal lifestyle, you'd be amazed by what this little guy is capable of. A laugh-out-loud comedy sure to have boys and girls alike rocking in their chairs!

The manga launched in Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine in November 2012, and ended with its 12th volume in February 2018. Yen Press released the sixth volume on January 28, and it will release the seventh volume on April 21.

A two-episode short net anime adaptation debuted in March 2017.

The Promised Neverland Creators Pen New 1-Shot Manga

This year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu will publish a one-shot manga titled "Shinrei Shashinshi Kōno Saburō" (Supernatural Photographer Saburō Kōno) in the magazine's next issue on August 11. The one-shot will be 45 pages long and will focus on a photographer documenting a supernatural event inside a room.

Shirai and Demizu launched The Promised Neverland manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in August 2016, and ended it on June 15. Viz Media publishes the manga digitally and in print in North America. MANGA Plus also publishes the manga digitally in English.

An anime adaptation premiered in January 2019. Aniplex of America streamed the anime on Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funimation, and HIDIVE as it aired. Toonami began airing the anime in April 2019. A second season of the anime was scheduled to premiere in October, but is delayed to January 2021 due to the effect of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the production.

A live-action film adaptation of the manga will open on December 18. Entertainment news websites reported in June that Amazon is developing a separate, English-language live-action series adaptation of the manga.

Haikyu!! Author Haruichi Furudate Teases Haikyuu Sequel Manga

The sports genre of manga has always been popular among fans. This genre focuses on stories involving various sports and the competitive pursuits of their athletes. But whenever we talk about this genre, the one manga that always pops into our minds – “Haikyu!!”

Haikyu!! has been a fan favorite ever since it started publishing back in February 2012. The story of Shōyō Hinata, who aims to be a great volleyball player, has been engrossing readers for almost eight years now.

The manga will conclude on July 20, 2020, after its eight-year-long run with its 401st chapter featuring a time skip to the Olympics.

Haikyu!! is the weekly Shonen Jump 33.34 merger issue, which will be released on July 20th next week, and will mark the final round with a period of eight and a half years.

Haikyu’s author Haruichi Furudate had commented about a sequel manga revolving around the Olympics seven years ago. It is uncanny that the 401st chapter teasing the Olympics time skip has been published seven years after the comment was made.

The 401st chapter along with the previous comment has teased fans with a sequel Manga for Haikyu!! revolving around the same.

It isn’t uncommon for sports genre mangas to receive sequels focusing on significant sports events after their long runs.

• Kengan Ashura received a sequel titled Kengan Omega that followed the series two years after the end of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament on Ganryu Island.
• Baki The Grappler had also received two sequels titled New Grappler Baki in 1995 and Baki: Son of Ogre in 2005.
• A sequel was also seen for Diamond no Ace when it received a sequel Diamond no Ace Act II in 2015 after its nine-year-long run from 2006.

Fans can hope that this isn’t just pure coincidence but a well-thought plan by the author, which will allow its readers to keep reading more about Shōyō Hinata and his athletic pursuits.

Superman Seems like He’s Copying Goku’s Abilities in Upcoming Animated Film

Superhero fans all over the world had constantly been wondering if Goku is stronger than Superman or vice versa. This age-old dilemma may never find an irrefutable answer unless somebody decides to put the two characters in a movie together. But until that moment, all we can do is speculate.

Both Superman and Goku possess powers way beyond the usual human boundaries. They can both fly, crack buildings, shoot energy waves, and so on. But one thing’s for sure: there are certain differences between their techniques. Goku can’t shoot lasers from his eyes or see through objects, while Superman is not capable of Instant Transmission, and so on. But the list of differences will soon get shorter.

We’ve seen Goku and other of his friends deflecting energy waves in Dragon Ball by simply hitting them with their bare hands. Superman can also do that as well, judging by what the story “The Wrath of Wioska,” from Superman: Man of Tomorrow #7 has to offer. It’s an upcoming animated film of the legendary superhero that has underwear over his pants, and it’s scheduled for release on August 23. The story is made by Dave Wielgosz, Miguel Mendoca, David Baron, and Clayton Cowles, and it presents Superman as he seeks the female alien Wioska to show him some new tricks. The alien is a former deity who has been training some ruthless killers in Apokolips.

Wioska sends an energy blast towards a crowd. She then urges Superman to do something; otherwise, she will hurt people. Superman then punches the energy wave right back at her. But the superhero brings out another technique that resembles some of those from the Dragon Ball universe. Getting charged at full power, Superman has an energy illuminating him and getting his eyes turning red.

Regardless of which one of the two characters is stronger, Goku or Superman, we are glad to watch them both in action.

One Piece Fans Loved Nami and Robin's Bathhouse Scene in Latest Episode

One Piece fans might have celebrated Nami's birthday recently, but they certainly didn't expect they would be getting a gift with a surprise (and dripping with fan service) bathhouse scene with Nami and Robin in the latest episode of the series. Now that the anime has officially returned from its COVID-19 hiatus and is now making its way through Act 2 of the Wano Country arc, the latest episode of the series took time to expand the world of Wano a bit more by introducing a mixed bathhouse along with a more vulnerable look at Nami and Robin.

It's been no secret that both Nami and Robin went through some huge changes after the series' famous timeskip, and scenes like this capitalize on their current looks. But with Oda's injected humor that they are being leered at constantly by the men also in the bath (and Shinobu taking all of the attention), it's a moment that's not just about fan service.

But then again, this information is not entirely what One Piece fans were focusing on with this scene! Naruto Cosplay Boldly Takes on the Famous Sexy Jutsu

One of the most iconic images from back when Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto franchise first began is Naruto's specialty "Sexy no Jutsu" that transformed him into a nude woman, and now it's been boldly recreated through cosplay! To better help emphasize Naruto's rascal nature, the series revealed that Naruto Uzumaki had developed a transformation wholly unique to him. While this indeed was played for both laughs and fan service given the "sexy" nature of the form, it's actually quite adept at establishing Naruto Uzumaki as a main character before the series launches him into his future shinobi struggles.

Although his use of the Shadow Clone Jutsu ended up being the more elaborate example of Naruto's surprise jutsu use, the fact that he was able to come up with his own transformation was a smart way that Kishimoto hinted that Naruto is better than everyone gave him credit for. Struggling to use a clone jutsu was one thing, but he was often ridiculed for having no skills at all.

But one look at the Sexy Jutsu proves this was not the case as it's entirely unique to him! How could someone so bad at jutsu in general be able to craft one for himself? Either way, its bold and stunning visage has been super popular over the years! The Sexy Jutsu hasn't faded away in the slightest over the years as it most recently made a reappearance during Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Not only has Boruto Uzumaki picked up the technique from his father, but he's willing to use it in order to get out of a jam. Netflix has expanded its base to anime, and the online streaming platform has some of the most exciting animes, and Baki is one of them. After two successful seasons, Baki has been given a green light for a second season, and fans are extremely excited for it. We have gathered all the recent updates and information regarding the anime, so here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Baki Season 3.
As you may already know, Baki is adapted from the manga series, Baki The Grappler and it’s a very popular manga series in Japan since it made its debut, and it’s extremely popular among fighting enthusiasts.

The story follows Baki Hanma, the main character who is on his quest to become the worst strongest martial artist and for that, he needs to surpass his father, so he is traveling to different parts of the world to learn new techniques. The official Twitter account announced back in March about the renewal of the anime.
According to reports, a total of 26 episodes are inbound, and it will be divided into third and fourth seasons each comprising 13 episodes.
There is still no official release date for the third season, however, according to multiple sources, Baki Season 3 is expected to release either in the fall of 2019 or at the beginning of 2020.
