‘Running Man’ postpones Manila visit anew

The popular Korean variety show “Running Man,” on SBS Channel, has postponed its upcoming fan meeting in Manila for a second time due to the continuing coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

The “Running Man: A Decade of Laughter Live in Manila” has been rescheduled for Dec. 6, 2020.

SBS made the announcement in a statement on May 14, Thursday, posted on the official “Running Man” Instagram account.

“All ‘Running Man’ members have been looking forward to seeing our fans. But unfortunately, the event has been rescheduled to Dec. 6, 2020. We hope all of our [sic] countries will have flattened the curve of COVID-19 and become safer by this time,” the channel said.

“Considering the fans who have been waiting for us, we truly regret to inform you of the postponement. But as our top priority is the health and safety of all, we ask for your kind understanding and patience,” it added.

The cast of “Running Man”—Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Ha Ha, Song Ji Hyo, Lee Kwang Soo, Jeon So Min, and Yang Se Chan—were originally scheduled to visit Manila on Feb. 9, which was initially postponed to June 21 due to the global COVID-19 threat.
